A WTF Moment (Where’s The Fairness): Integrity As A Leader

“Oops sorry about that but you still have to pay your invoice!!!” Should I seriously still have to pay full price for a #service that wasn’t delivered? 

Recently, I hired a company that promised to deliver heaps of #business leads. “OK! I said, if you are that good, here’s a few $000s for your outstanding service” …

Fast forward and The Marketer now says “Oops sorry, we couldn’t deliver on our promises and we didn’t get you the leads … extra sorry, but we are keeping the payment, though” … WTF? 

AND The Head Marketer is blaming his marketing team?? …As a #Leadership Consultant I know and train large corporations, and teams are generally a reflection of their #Leader

So, is it really the #team, the Leader or just a crap service? Where is the integrity? Where is the guarantee of an outcome? I certainly stand behind the quality of my Leadership Coaching. If I don’t deliver a service, I don’t get paid. Simple as that!

If marketers don’t deliver, oh well, too bad for the consumer, they get paid anyway. Help me understand that, please … where is the money back commitment to delivering on their promise?
