In the case of LJ Hooker, it is not even a business-related service that they provide. They look after our property portfolio for us, which just makes life so easy, takes the pressure off us, and we focus on business, while they focus on our tenants and sales.
So, why did we give LJ Hooker this recognition?
1. They helped us move a rental contract from another agent
Doesn’t sound like much, and it might be core business for most real estate agents … but, I can tell you having done this previously, it can be a painful process. LJ Hooker just said, “leave it with us, we’ve got it handled”. They made sure that they completed with the deadlines set by the REIQ, and all of a sudden, we had an LJ Hooker Property Manager managing that property.
2. They went above and beyond to help us through a property sale that was long and tedious
Again, it doesn’t sound like much, and you might just say that it is their job, but the afterhours visits, the turning sprinklers on to keep the grass green, the organising of cleaning as the house got dirty again over time and the direct support from the proprietor was top shelf. And, we noticed it – some might expect it, we valued it.
3. We call, they answer, and always, always, have the answers and are happy to support
This is on business that you know when you call you are going to get through quickly, easily and you will be able to speak to who you need to! Might seem normal, but in my experience, it isn’t.
So, there you have it – why LJ Hooker are such a valued business in our lives!!!
