Dealing with bullies in business suits

Corporate bullying is an issue in corporate Australia. HRM Solutions (and Safe Work Australia – SWA) has found that “Australia has the sixth-highest rate of workplace bullying when compared with 34 European countries. According to SWA, the national average rate of workplace bullying has increased by 40%. This is supported by independent research conducted by the mental health charity, Beyond Blue, who suggest that almost 50% of all working Australians will experience bullying at some time in their work life”.

Recently, and given my work as a leadership coach, I have done some radio interviews on bullies in business suits. Yes, my focus is on working with leaders, those that do bully, and those that don’t (depending on the situation). And to help leaders refine their leadership skills and their ability to have a positive influence on their teams and their businesses. My purpose is to help leaders become better humans, and to create high performing teams.
