I Love Boardrooms

I really, really do … it is like they are my happy place, seriously. 

I think the reason is that; I can feel the energy in the room, I can feel the power of the decisions that are made, and I realise that there are lives, households, families positively affected by the decisions made. Businesses provide wages and salaries, after all! 

 And, yes, I get that there are some decisions made in some Boardrooms that may not be with the best intentions of everyone in mind, but let’s just say for arguments sake, that most are!!! 

 Today, I was lucky enough to be working with 2 CEOs that are both progressive, and innovative, driven and personable. And, everything just flowed, with the right outcomes achieved (it was not a huge project in the scheme of things; enough to make a difference and add value to the businesses)! ??? 

 Whether the meeting takes an hour, or a day, it is only ever about outcome, and we got that today, again, in a room that has a history, that has a personality, and that has a great feel about it! 

 For me personally, I would work all day every day, in a Boardroom somewhere – easy! Whether it was full or empty – there is just something about them that makes me happy! ☺️ 

And, when I am happy, I feel like I do my best work. And, that would go for most people, I think, where it is a place, or a type of work that you are doing, the happier you are, the better you perform … yeah … 

With this Boardroom, in particular, I have been blessed enough to have done a range of great projects from this room, and those positive experiences all stack up. ? 

From training programs, to facilitated workshops, this room gets a lot of use for that business, and the client trusts TGG enough to allow us to support them to do those types of work! 

SO, AS A LEADER, WHERE (OR WHAT) IS YOUR HAPPY PLACE (OR WHAT WORK DO YOU LOVE DOING), AND WHY? WHEN YOU ARE HAPPY, THINGS JUST FLOW, RIGHT???
